working with the organisations MAXIMO® support team to
configure MAXIMO® to their requirements. This is an ideal
way forward where the MAXIMO® support team very rapidly
become proficient in setting up, configuring and managing MAXIMO®.

B. Users just prior to go live
C. Users though out the life of the system
A and B may be carried out but often both are limited and only scratch the surface. C never happens. Knowledge is passed down, hopefully, from one user to another including all the bad practices and only covering what each user knows about the system. In time system knowledge is lost, if it was ever learnt in the first place.
In time in depth knowledge of the system is lost. Data input becomes poor and ultimately use of the system decreases. A massive investment wasted that would never be allowed to happen to an expensive capital piece of machinery. So why let it happen to a software system?
